Resilient Connections Transform Communities

In August, we were awarded A4A funding for our new project that is building upon our former Building Resilience events.

A National Lottery grant in August 2020 enabled SAN to build on previous 'Building Resilience' events. Planning began on this new project ‘Resilient Connections Transform Communities’. One school has taken part in online meetings, where small teams of staff along with community partners, and later some parents, worked with a facilitator. They identified priorities for 2021 and action plans. These form the basis of a school and community resilience strategy. Two other schools have expressed interest.

Looking to the Future - we are opening again soon

We are confident that some of our programmes will resume in the Autumn term 2021.

Like most organisations we are adapting our practice and our services to meet the new challenges that Covid has presented. We will continue to seek opportunities to support our communities through this challenging time.
